The Crab and the Fox
Aesop | Greece
A crab exploring beyond the shore is devoured by a cunning fox, meeting a tragic end.

In a distant land, there was a crab who got tired of living by the sea. He wanted to see what was beyond the water. One day, the crab decided to leave his home and explore the world.
As the crab walked through a nearby field, he met a fox. The fox saw the crab and thought, "This is my chance for an easy meal." The fox quickly jumped on the crab.
