A growing library of close to 400 fables across 13 language collections, reaching more children in their mother tongue and supporting language learning. Each story is carefully researched, rewritten, and illustrated for today’s audience - with lessons and wisdom children can apply to daily life.

Each story includes guiding questions that invite reflection and help children develop life skills to shape their own futures. Sparking meaningful conversations about values and ideas, encouraging sharing perspectives, and deepening understanding of self, others, and the world.

The FableReads Story
Anders set out to find meaningful stories to share with his daughters. Stories with relatable themes and ideas, told in a way that children, families and classrooms could enjoy together. When he couldn’t find what he was looking for, he created FableReads.
Our mission is simple: Making the Worlds Fables Accessible to the Children of the World. With a small, dedicated team, we’re deepening and widening our impact with the support of everyone who shares this vision.
