The Stag and the Lion in a Caves
Text Version

One day, a stag was drinking water from a stream in the forest. Suddenly, he heard dogs barking in the distance. He knew hunters were coming and he had to run away quickly.

The stag ran as fast as he could to get away from the hunters and their dogs. Sometimes, his big antlers got stuck in tree branches and slowed him down, but he kept running because he knew he had to escape.

After running for a while, the stag found a dark cave. He thought it was a good place to hide, so he went inside. He hoped the hunters and their dogs would not find him there. He went deep into the cave and tried to make himself as small as possible.

But the cave was not empty. A big lion was inside, resting. The stag's entrance woke the lion up. The lion looked at the stag and was very hungry. The stag didn't have time to do anything before the lion jumped on him and caught him.

The stag's effort to run away from the hunters led him to an even worse situation, as he was caught by the lion in the end.
