Once upon a time, a pair of birds lived on the seashore. They built their nest on a tree near the beach and laid their eggs in it. They were very excited about the arrival of their little ones.
One day, while they were out in search of food, the sea swept in and stole their eggs. When the birds came back, they found their nest empty. They were heartbroken.
They knew it was the sea who had taken their eggs. The birds approached the sea and pleaded for the return of their eggs. But the sea was arrogant and refused to give back the eggs.
Determined to get their eggs back, the birds came up with a plan. They decided to empty the sea by taking out its water drop by drop.
With a small beak, they started taking out the water. They flew to a far-off place, dropped the water, and then came back for more. It was a long and tiring process, but the birds didn't give up.
News of their determination and hard work reached the other birds. They were moved by the pair's plight and decided to help. Soon, birds from all over started joining the pair in their mission. They too began to carry water away drop by drop.
Meanwhile, the king of birds heard about their mission. He was moved by their courage and determination. He decided to help and approached the sea. He warned the sea about the unity of the birds and asked it to return the eggs.
Fearing the determination and unity of the birds, the sea apologized and returned the eggs. The bird pair was overjoyed to have their eggs back. They thanked all the birds who had helped them.
Once upon a time, two birds lived happily by the sea. They built their nest in a tree near the beach and laid their eggs there. They were very excited about their baby birds hatching soon.
One day, while they were looking for food, a big wave from the sea came and took their eggs away. When the birds returned, they found their nest empty and felt very sad.
The birds knew the sea had taken their eggs. They asked the sea nicely to give them back, but the sea was mean and refused.
The birds didn’t give up. They decided to get their eggs back by taking out the sea’s water, one drop at a time. With their small beaks, they carried water away, drop by drop. It was hard work, but they kept going.
Other birds heard about their problem and how hard they were working. They felt sorry for the two birds and wanted to help. Soon, many birds joined in, each one carrying water away, drop by drop.
The king of birds heard about their struggle and was impressed by their courage. He went to the sea and warned it about the birds’ unity. The king asked the sea to return the eggs.
The sea got scared seeing all the birds working together. It said sorry and gave the eggs back. The two birds were very happy to have their eggs again. They thanked all the birds who helped them.

Once upon a time, by the swishy swashy seaside, there were two birds with a little nest and some cute eggs. They were as thrilled as a cat with a feather toy about their upcoming birdie babies.
One sunny day, after flitting and floating about for some nibbles to eat, they came back to find their eggs were GONE! Gasps
"I don't believe it!" said Birdie One, looking at the nest with big round eyes. "The sea's done a heist on our eggs!"
The sea, looking as smug as a seagull with a chip, just chuckled. "Finders keepers, my feathery friends!"
The birds looked at each other. "Well," said Birdie Two, "we'll have to be cunning like foxes, brave like lions, and as cheeky as, well, birds!"
And so, they hatched a plan, not an egg, mind you - that comes later, to empty the sea, drop by drop.
"Take that, Mr. Sea!" cried Birdie One, carrying a drop away.
"You'll run out of water before we run out of peckishness!" added Birdie Two.
It was slow going. It was like trying to eat soup with a fork, but the birds didn't give up.
Soon, news spread. Birds of a feather flocked together, and the others joined in.
"What's this, then?" asked a Robin, "A pool party without the pool?"
"No, mate!" chirped a Sparrow. "We're teaching Mr. Sea a lesson in manners."
Even the king of birds heard about the daring droplet deed. "By my feathers!" he exclaimed. "Such pluck! Such courage!"
He flew down to the sea and said, "Look here, Mr. Sea, if you don't return those eggs, we'll turn you into a puddle!"
The sea, realizing it had bitten off more than it could chew, or in this case, stolen more eggs than it could crack, looked as embarrassed as a cat caught in a bird feeder.
"I'm sorry," it burbled, giving the eggs back. "I was all wet on that one."
The bird pair, as happy as a dog with two tails, thanked all their friends. "You're all the cat's pajamas!" they chirped.
And they all lived happily, flappily ever after.
By the shore where the waves did play,
Lived two birds in a tree one day,
With their nest so cozy, sturdy and neat,
Close to the beach, what a lovely treat!
Eggs they laid, with joy and cheer,
Their little ones soon would be here,
Oh, what excitement filled the air,
For those tiny birds they soon would care.
But fate did strike in a cruel twist,
While the birds were gone, their eggs were missed,
The sea swept in with a boastful glee,
And took those eggs away to the sea.
The birds returned to a nest so bare,
Their eggs were gone, they cried in despair,
They knew it was the sea's cruel jest,
It took their eggs, oh, what a pest!
"We'll get them back!" the birds declared,
A plan they made, they were not scared,
With beaks so small, they'd take the sea,
And empty it out, drop by drop, you see.
They flew to a place so far away,
Dropping water, all night and day,
A long and tiring task indeed,
But give up they wouldn't, they'd succeed!
Soon other birds heard of their plight,
Moved by courage, joined their fight,
Drop by drop they carried the sea,
United they were, as strong as could be.
The king of birds then heard their tale,
He knew their mission must not fail,
To the sea he went with a warning so stern,
"Return those eggs, or you'll soon learn!"
The sea grew fearful of birds so grand,
Their unity strong, a determined band,
With an apology, it returned the eggs,
The bird pair's joy was back in their legs!
They thanked the birds who helped their quest,
Their eggs were back in their cozy nest,
With hearts so warm and full of grace,
They knew their tree was a special place.
