Every story is available to read and listen to, with no ads or paywalls. Stories are the heartbeat of culture, carrying wisdom across generations. A safe, engaging space where children, parents, educators, and caregivers can explore timeless stories together.
Collections and Languages
A growing library of close to 400 fables across 13 language collections, reaching more children in their mother tongue and supporting language learning. Each story is carefully researched, rewritten, and illustrated for today’s audience - with relatable lessons children can apply to daily life.

The FableReads Story
FableReads began when founder Anders Sundelin searched for meaningful stories to share with his daughters. He wanted tales with relatable lessons, presented in a parent-teacher-child friendly way. When he couldn’t find what he was looking for, he created FableReads - a self-funded, global platform built by a small, dedicated team and two co-founders.
Our mission is simple: Making the Worlds Fables Accessible to the Children of the World. With a small, dedicated team, we’re deepening and widening our impact with the support of everyone who shares this vision.
